I have been completing tri’s and short running events for the last 10 years but have never really taken the training part very serious. This summer I saw a picture of myself completing the Decatur tri and it wasn’t pretty. From that point forward I made a commitment to train better, eat better and get in shape. Since that July race I have dropped 20 lbs (although I put a few back on over the Thanksgiving break) and I have upped my running quite a bit. I am also taking a spin class 3 times a week.
My next goal is to drop another 15 lbs and complete my first half marathon in Jan down in St. Louis. So here goes and let me know how you are doing in efforts. I will try to post some runs routes and keep you updated on my progress to loose weight.
